Thanks guys I was also suspicious by the too good looks and when he posted the lume shot I thought that the lume looked way too clean for a vintage watch. I shared with him that these are widely faked and that it raised suspicion in me and most of all in here. He still pulled the trigger. I give him some time before I break the final news. How do they fake weak lume anyway? By many 'tells' the dial is not genuine.

Here is the next one. It’s a 6139b, but also a my “b” Both your Watch A and Watch B are genuine all around. No worries to post for sale here or anywhere.

Thank you! I am learning a lot! I just took photos of all of my parts. I have 4 incomplete movements and dials to sell. I really enjoyed taking photos of them! I am glad I am having fun doing it.

I am working hard at triple checking if my parts are OEM or aftermarket. Nothing wrong with aftermarket, but I don’t want misrepresent what I have. How can you tell if a 6309 chapter ring is genuine? In one of the photos it’s still dark, but has been reflective by the lights so looks lighter than it is. Thank you. It’s just hard when I don’t know the history.

That is the most forced fake I have seen to date (not that I am looking for them). There is nothing correct in that assembly for any watch as far as I can tell. I bet there isn't even a 6309 inside!

Well it has a real Chinese cheapo strap going for it... Also does the GS look tad bit unfinished and skrawny?

Listing removed by seller. It will appear somewhere mind. “This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing.” I think the error was listing it in the first place

Is this a fake dial? I have not seen one of these without a dial code. The applied logo is warped. The color is more toward the teal side than electric blue. The markings are fading. Not sure if all of these things are just signs of age, except for the missing dial code. I find it hard to authenticate the Bruce Lee dials. The subdial looks good to me. It has a two piece sweeper so should be no later than October 1970 and have a 6139A movement.

Yeah the color is throwing me, the dial code seems to be there just very faded. The caseback is from a different 6139 model lol. I'll throw a real low offer.

Now looking at it on a computer, I can see the faded dial code. As for the shade of blue, that could easily be caused by the camera taking the photo. I'm thinking it's legit, just worn. Too bad about the case back.

got another photo from the seller, he had installed the incorrect caseback it now has the correct one (or so he says) it's a 6139-6011 with 6139B movement. The price is good so gonna pick it up, I'm hoping the dial colour is more teal would give it a nice look

Also, I don’t think a two-piece sweeper belongs on a B movement, but I could be wrong. What are the first two digits of the serial?

The serial is 112884, I really not sure if it's the actual case back to be honest. Apologies for it being upside-down I can't seem to rotate images on my phone.
