This for me which I fixed last night, it had been dead for some time. Tropical they’d call that if it were an Omega! Edit: forgot to say, I slipped in a quite funky arabic (I guess it's arabic) daywheel from a dead 8123 that I have in my spares. I think that's my first mod!

Holds the battery and/or spring in place? In one. Quartz movements that do not have a battery strap.

My favorit tool watch... Very nice. Thought of you earlier as I was reading a history of the VFA (possibly my favourite of your watches) on a french website. Very interesting!

I’ll try and upload. This for me for our daily walk. Had to jog back the last km as my boy had a movement and the bomb doors were about to open... Ok, if you try and upload full sized a few times THEN go to medium it seems to work.

Had to go out and pick up the veggie box, weather is so nice it’s not a chore and the great thing is they have limited supply so long standing customers by pre-order once a week only. And they do superb home made cakes! Oh ok, crappytalk not playing ball again. So glad I paid for the full version. I tried to go medium instead of original on crapatalk, uploaded fine. Rob Worked on one pic but not the other. Thanks for the tip!

My recently restored early 1970 ‘PROOF’ 6139-6000. Not one for the purists or pedants as I’ve relumed the dial, replaced the hands with a NOS full set (no 2-part sweep) and it has a ‘Resistant’ -6002 caseback from ‘73. Do I care? Not one bit 🤣 Nick, you should care. Wake up sheeple (remember the earth is flat and c19 is a conspiracy and any watch that has been fixed is wrong) and send it to me where I’ll ‘take care of it’ for you. 😂

Arnold. Busy day as a bank holiday, big VE Day celebration and most importantly my wife’s birthday. Big plans. So what am I doing right now? Sat in the car with my son in the A&E car park while my wife’s inside as she gashed her scalp on a bird feeder in the garden. She’ll be fine, needs it gluing though.

Today's Seiko golf tip of the day: increase your accuracy by practicing hitting shots using only using your lead arm
Good tips back, and they’re nothing to do with cats! All is well.

That sounds like my thingy exactly. It’s annoying when you get a bit ping that’s not ferrous though 🤣 Luckily pings are much fewer these days although from time to time, especially when I’m tired...

Had to come to the real office today rather than the home office. So I brought along The Colonel for company.
