I bought it locally, but its the 20mm Hadley Roma MS847. You should be able to find it on the web...

It's an incredibly cool bit of engineering and inspiration. Unfortunately, Seiko could make a traditional automatic that was within +/- 1 sec per day and the Swiss, and Swiss lovers, would still find fault.

Try this one. It's a Hadley Roma carbon fiber style strap. Wore this combo till I sourced the original bracelet, the carbon fiber pattern works great with the dual and markers...

The code varies. It's not the same on every SKX007. Other watches also have this, such as some monsters. In some cases it's WP, some G, some A.
No answer as to what it is. It us not the caseback opener code, which is usually diagonally across, and it does not mean waterproof.
Sorry couldn't be more help.

Ya know Spencer, the snowflake is big enough and has enough presence that it really doesn't have to be a dress watch. (Get one, don't wait, buy it, it needs you, you must obey....)

I was on business in AZ and went to the AD there on Monday to get the snowflake. They also had the blue LE diver but I resisted and just git the snowflake. the will power laster Until Thursday morning when I called and had them deliver it to my hotel. Dangerous temptations indeed.

Stunning! If you ever decide to part with the black manta, let me know! My son is a marine life freak, loves rays, and I have had an eye out for one of these for the past couple of years. He's also a budding WIS! I would love to buy him one someday!

Interesting Dave, I like the threesome comparison. Well done. So, for me, it would be: - Black Dial Rolex Sub over any Seiko diver, period and White Gold Bluesy Sub as Top Gun - GS GMT over the Rolex GMT by a hair - While I simply love the SBGA011 Snowflake dress watch, and I will get one some day (with 2 in college that means a few years from now unless the "unreal deal" comes my way). That said, my Rolex Datejust 116233 Champagne Dial on TT Super Jubilee is so freakin' stunning in any light that it wins hands-down on pure wow factor. The dial has a life of its own that changes in differing lighting. The Gold is so pure in color that I find myself just staring at it. Also, with the TT Datejust being quite a bit more pricey than the Snowflake, maybe it's not the like-for-like GS vs Swiss comparison being asked by the OP. HiBeat....we are polar opposites! That's awesome, Funny that two of your three are Rolex, but you'd choose the GS GMT over the Rolex GMT...one of Rolex's most iconic models and the only Rolex I'd choose over GS. While totally different than mine, I love your choices! Bravo!

Watch out SpinDoctor! The GS line can easily start its own addiction....and a dangerous one at that!

The question is Swiss vs. GS. Fairly stilted question as most people don't buy this way. If one had $7000 to invest in a watch it might be a question of brand A vs. brand B vs. brand C, not really one of nationality
I don't mean to split hairs and I'm not trying to be difficult. It's like saying Lexus vs. German. I might rather an LS450 over a Benz, but I'd rather a Porsche over an IS.
As for me... GS LE blue diver over Rolex Sub/SD Rolex GMT II over any GS GMT GS Snowflake (or most others) over any similarly priced Swiss dress watch

Hey captain!
Yes, the helmets came on the fishbone and on this one, which is insanely rare. There are some catalog pics on this one, so I know it is correct, but I am not sure if was limited to a specific region or what. I have only seen catalog pics of white ones with this bracelet, but it may have been on some black ones also. If anyone knows details, please chime in!
