Interestingly, they answered the phone as ‘Grand Seiko Boutique.’ For a moment I thought I’d mistakenly phoned Grand Seiko Burlington Arcade... Is the Burlington Arcade pop-up Boutique still open? I've never been there. I heard it was for the Christmas and New Year period - I wonder if it'll become permanent, or if it's only open until this re-branding of the Knightsbridge one takes place? It'll be a shame if it becomes the case that there's nowhere to see the Seikos that you don't usually see carried by other stores. Any Idea of the prices for These? Price in Spain is 875 Euros: so I would expect the U.K. price to be similar to that.

Burlington Arcade is still listed on the GS website but with no opening hours and just a mobile number, so I suspect it’s closed.

The point is - it’s a bloody good looking watch!Agree with you on that Nick but it's not really a re-issue of the wonderful one button chrono from '64. Homage perhaps? ...in any case after one minute you have to use the bezel...so wait one minute and you will have the same watch but waterproof and bigger.... 😉😄😃🥂

Well, it looks like the re-branding’s happened - if you search on Google for “Grand Seiko Boutique Knightsbridge”, you can see that they up-loaded new photos of the Boutique a couple of hours ago, which show that the display case in the front inside the store is now branded “Grand Seiko” as well as the store signs outside, so I guess they won’t be carrying any more non-Grand Seiko Seikos, as their other Grand Seiko Boutiques in California, Tokyo, Paris, and Sydney don’t either.

I noticed that last week when I did a search. However, clicking on the website it’s still referencing Presage and Prospex. So, they might have re-branded the physical store but they haven’t updated the website. I’ll be hugely disappointed if they only carry the GS range now, unless they plan to move the plebeian ranges to another store. I guess there’s only one way to find out for sure...

Oops, I just got a reply to my email that I sent to them a few days ago!: “We actually already re-branded at the beginning of the month:) Not much will change in terms of stocking the Seiko range. We still have Astron, Prospex and Presage in stock. We only changed the front Seiko cabinet to Grand Seiko and the front window Seiko tower to Grand Seiko to match the new facade. The rest will remain the same in the first part of the store.” So, good news! Sorry about the confusion!

Hi,the watch will become available from 22 Feb on japan-online.com. I ordered the cream dial from www.olfert-co.de and they told me it will be available at the end of March. Now all I can do is wait and see.
