If there is a tie then both can go into the draw, no stress. This is all a bit of fun to get people interacting, I've seen several watches that I'd like and have only missed out by a few $ so am certain that I'll snag a $10 beauty

Yep you have a point, the idea of only Seiko was that the majority of forum members have a good knowledge of Seiko's. This hopefully would rule out freko's etc. Happy to amend the "rules/guidelines" etc. What do the others think, personally it would broaden the appeal and educate the Seiko focused!
Rod I think that would be good to expand during the next running of the contest Take some comments after this contest ends and see how the rules evolve. Sounds good, we'll see how this goes and…… work it out.

So if we all vote for our own watch, and every submission gets 1 vote, and they all go to the finals . . . . .

You're over thinking this….. Not really, there needs to be 1 winner each month.

Well, it's April and the voting for the March Madness watch has begun, so don't forget to vote and then start your search for the Awesome April Seiko. We so far have just the two prises, so feel free to add am item to the list. This doesn't have to be a big ticket item, just something you can live without, maybe last months $10 watch

Sounds good to me I guess Casio would need to fall into this group too, along with Pulsar, Alba, J Springs, and any branches of the other companies I don't know about. I still think it'd be nice to expand. I can definitely see why you wanted to keep things simple with one brand though.

By the way how many ......... ( Women Member's ) do we have on here, just to be fare to some of them if any. If any Women on here then at least they will also enjoy some prizes too. If a women watch is bought then they will have a fair chance to a good prize also it too right ? Just wondering about it.

We wondered about that too, and decided that blokes outvoted the girls so we made a purely democratic decision to allow the seagulls to vote at the next meting of the decathlon sort course interstate biannual inaugural competition as long as they didn't steel any chips from the elected officials pryer to the finish of the last but one dance. I hope that this helps answer your question on the blood type of northern spawning Laridae (sub species, lari) during the post dance shoot off.
