Does the Seiko need to be in working order and complete or do parts watches count?

I think a complete working watch would be the go, that makes this even harder.

I'm assuming the entry, needs to be purchased in the month it is submitted? I'd like to see all rules listed at the top of each months thread, and assuming the contest will start in March?

Sounds cool
How about a Playmate, or Seikomate of the month, purchased that month, and then each months winner vies for Playmate, I mean Seikomate of the year.
Is there a monthly prize for each winner or a winner takes all of the donated items.
I'm sure I can scrounge something up to donate to the final pot.

Great idea.
For those of us (whinging) Brits who don't use them new fangled dollars, is the exchange rate going to be set ( I think it's $1.65) today, at the start of the competition or at the time of purchase ?
I'm off to look for a £6 watch.

I'm off to look for a £6 watch. It shouldn't fluctuate much, I guess it should be at the time of purchase? Also, I'm assuming the shipping is NOT included in the final price?

"OK the watch needs to be bought in the Month of entry,"
How about a + - 5 days grace period to account for shipping otherwise the first 4 days of each month would have no entries.
What about Seiko sub brands?
Does the watch have to work?

How about a rule for no ladies watches unless gender appropriate to the buyer?

Does the watch have to work? Here's how I see it, but I'll let Rod handle the details. No grace period needed, we'll just go by the date of purchase, not delivery. I think we should keep it to Seiko only, that's what most voters will have knowledge about. Not necessarily, I think the voting will be just about the best deal, working or not.
