I read therefore I am. I cannot be without a book of some description, real or electronical. I have 1200 books in my man cave, and I'm working my way through the 200+ that I've not read yet. I also have a couple of hundred audiobboks. Her Ladyship has banned me from buying any more books untill they are all read. Yeah right ! laugh1.gif
I'm currently reading:
Ramsey Campell " Deathshead ". Loo reading mainly, (and yes1.gif I always wash my hands, the book never goes anywhere near the actual loo !)
Bob Monkhouse "Unpublished" . Bed time reading.
Ian Henderson "Disappear". Kindle edition freebie (actual Kindle, phone or netbook), lunchtimes, coffee shop and other places where a real book is not really convenient.
Piers Anthony Xanth series (I'm working my way through the 31 I have, they're puntastic) No. 21 "Faun and Games". Audio book for to and from work.
I'd love to know what you're reading.

The loo's my main reading room these days . . . and they're right beside it laugh1.gif. . . currently, just finished 'HMS Ulysses' for the, jeez, I dunno, 10th time perhaps, started on 'The Glass Bead Game' and delving into Phil Irving's 'Tuning for Speed' yet again, a constant reference that never dates . . . plus the usual array of 'Uncut', 'Juxtapoz' and bike mags 'Dice', 'Greasy Kulture' and 'Sideburn' . . . I'm messed up, I know.

Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon - nearly finished, has been a long read, beautifully written, doesn't always make sense, the so-called greatest American novel of the 20th century? I'm not sure, but yes it is rocket science.

I used to read a lot but recently my eyesight makes it uncomfortable.
At the moment I am struggling to read an autobiography by Herbert A. Werner called Iron Coffins. He was a very young German U boat captain in WW2.
The book was given to me by an old friend who shares my passion for anything marine, he is ex. Merchant Navy.

Reading two books right now. The Naked Communist by W. Cleon Skousen & Prophecy 20/20 by Dr. Chuck Missler Hey Chris . . . . I can't tell you how blessed I've been to find out about Chuck Missler. I listen to his commentaries every day while I'm working. I've listened to just about every book he's done in the Old Testament. His commentaries on Revelation and Genesis are absolutely amazing. I also recently found a site that has all of Chuck Smith's teachings but I haven't actually listened to any but he was a big influence on Chuck Missler. Please let me know what you think about the book when you are finished.

I found his Alien Encounters series on vhs at my church and was fascinated by his insight. Everything by him that I read blows me away. I love his scientific approach to his beliefs and truth. The Prophecy 20/20 book is really well written. I'm about half way through with it right now. I'll let you know when I'm done.
