When I eventually managed to download it as a borrowed item, I thought it would go to all my devices (4), but it will only deliver to a proper Kindle and won't send from that to other dvices. So I can't access it on Netbook, phone or desktop. Not a major problem, but a bit annoying. Since I only use the Kindle and a computer, that would not have been an annoyance to me.

Finished Pulp, it certainly was pretty trashy, but equally enjoyable. Thumbs up, quick, easy read. Now reading Narcopolis by Jeet Thayil, shortlisted for the Booker last year, it's about the opium scene in 1970's Bombay.

Find the title of the book in the list and mouse over to the right to the Actions button. Click Actions then "Deliver to my ..." In the box you can select another registered device or cloud reader.

Yup, tried that, and the other devices show, but I can't click on them. Getting a new phone with a bigger screen soon, so I'm hoping I can sort it out.

Is it as good as the others ? Must confess that I found the Da Vinci Code enjoyable but a bit heavy. Angels and Demons is IMHO a lot better. Absolutely love Digital Fortress and Deception Point.

Slow reader...just finished Dan Brown's INFERNO.
It was an ok read but doesn't hold a cadle to his previous Angels&Demons or DaVinci Code. Even the Lost Symbol was a better read. This time; the book was more like a travelogue with no codes or puzzles for the reader to try figuring out.
I hope Dan isn't just writing now to please his publisher embarrassed-smiley-face

Just finished reading Natural Causes by James Ozwald. A Kindle freebie but an excellent read by an author whom I'd not come across before. Book two in the Inspector McLean series apparently, so off to hunt for the first one now.
Also finished Fatal Exchange by Russel Blake. Another excellent read. Thanks to Norm for the recommendation.

"The Increment": by David Ignatius.
phuk this guy knows his stuff! If your not familiar with him he also wrote "Body of Lies" which was made in to a movie staring Leonardo DiCaprio & Russell Crowe.
Great read, CIA, MI6 + SAS. All told with real insiders knowledge. What's not to like?

Micheners Caribbean. The man sure knows how to tell a story. I think poor old James died some years ago. But he did write some epic novels. I've read Texas, Centennial, The Source, Caribbean and Hawaii. All excellent stories thunbsup.gif

Just finished Last Light and Afterlight by Alex Scarrow. Both highly recommended. Last Light is set over a week leading to the end of civilisation as we know it in the present day and Afterlight deals with the aftermath. I couldn't put them down at all, based on a very realistic scenario it just makes you think how precarious modern civilisation is. They are set in the UK but I urge everyone to have a read

Just started Great Expectations, never read any Dickens so I thought I'd give it go.
The Teleportation Accident was excellent. Very odd, full of twists and turns, had a bit of everything in that the book seemed to keep re-inventing itself as it went along, and funny too. thunbsup.gif This year's booker longlist has just been announced, hopefully there's some decent new stuff on it...

Just dove into Michael Crichton's 'Timeline' for the fourth time. This is an excellent story that will likely not be Sci-Fi in the near future. Reading some of the source info in the Bibliography is almost as exciting as the novel itself chinathumbsup.gif
