I got these 3 from a teller last night. She said she had customers actually refuse to take them when she tried to hand them back out.

They are probably all Wrist Sushi members who know that picture is of our own ' igniferroque' BTW...I haven't seen her around recently. Anyone heard from or seen her anywhere?

Got these in the mail today. It looks like the place has a fake business name as a front so their shipments don't get ripped off by UPS or USPS employees if the shippers address said Tons Of Gold & Silver

OK Josh...haven't done anything with coins in a while, but your posts here have piqued some interest from me again. My 10yr old and I are going to a local coin show next weekend. See if we can fill some of his missing slots and have a gander....probably will eat it for a Privateer #1 coin...I missed the bus on that one...

They have a new one coming out soon. Reminds me of Yosemite Sam. If anyone is in the Houston area (Norm) check you nickels to see if they are counter stamped on the reverse. If you find one in time it could be worth as much as $3,200 cash as the prize. Be sure to ignore all of the rest of the article because it is pretty much someone writing an article who knows nothing about coin values and the odds of finding one in circulation. abc13.com/hobbies/check-your-change--some-coins-could-be-worth-big-money/1102077/

Still, it is a very nicely done deep relief coin 7dfe79adc2f0

I'm getting shorted left and right this week. First 2 boxes had several short rolls. Then I go to my main Chase bank that I even bought pizza for yesterday and they had some dollar coins in a tellers tray and some rolls. I get $12 from the tray and one of them is another damn Loonie. Then 4 out of 5 of the rolls are CWR. And in one of them is a gold plated quarter. Shorted again And no silver in any of the boxes only made it worse

BTW...took your advice. Stopped off at my local branch today w/my ten year old (and this is true) let them know that his three cousins had just permanently moved here from Ireland. That we all were going to start collecting coins and what could I do to get lots for them to sift through. Ended up the head teller is ordering 3 boxes of each coin type for us to "start" with over the Christmas break. My bank account will be drained for a short while, but will be fun.

Ended up the head teller is ordering 3 boxes of each coin type for us to "start" with over the Christmas break. My bank account will be drained for a short while, but will be fun. There are stories on the coin forums about bringing your kids (or any kid you can find) in to the bank to use them as your scapegoat to try to get them to order boxes for you. And it pays to get the head teller on your side. If you find anything good be sure to let them know that you are doing well on working on your sets. If you need any folders or later on albums I get mine from Valley Coin and they just happen to be in your neighborhood. www.valleycoin.com/text_page.php?page=about&osCsid=057278dc5d835e9df805dc0607321e6eBe sure to stop by and let us know what you find. I am sort of "famous" over there. www.coincommunity.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=147
