Here are some coins I grabbed off eBay. They are a little older than I am...actually most of them are older than Christianity!

I have collected coins since I was about 11 or 12 when my Uncle gave me a box filled with U.S. coins! These are only a VERY minor sampling of what I have around the house the rest being tucked away in my safety deposit box. I used to collect 1 oz. Silver Art bars when they were so popular and have perhaps another 100-150 of them along with 1 oz. rounds in my SD box. I lost track of what I have but I also have a complete MINT short set of Walking Liberty 1/2s and almost every denomination of Mexican Gold pieces there are along with a substantial amount of U.S. American Gold coins to include the St. Gaudens $20.00 piece. Also included in the Gold coins I have a few British Gold Sovereigns. Mar should show a few of her's as she used to work in a coin shop and from what I understand has a nice collection. The Wife likes Foreign coins and has a cigar box filled with them. I have some fractional Civil War notes as well but sadly they are beat to shit!

$2 will get you $1000 if you can find the right buyer
And don't forget currency.
I got this one while selling a mower a month or 2 ago.
My first low serial #. Not really worth much because it is 4 digits.

Wow! I think I have only ever seen 5 or 6 of those coins in circulation. There are many that are not included there as well.

I went through 13 boxes since Thursday. $6500 face (13,000 coins) 325 lbs to carry out of the bank, carry to search location, carry back to the car, and then carry them back to the banks to get cash back. 15 40% silver, 2 1964 90% silver, a Franklin, 2 1971D struck on quarter stock, a gold plated counterstamped, and a Panama.

I admire your tenacity and dedication to the art of coin collection Josh. For me its all about the silver content and I don't really care about anything else. Perhaps someday we'll meet up and you'll school me on which non silver coins I should be looking out for. Then we'll drink some 40's while listening to ICP and discuss the finer points of vintage Seiko vs. modern. Think about it. :imok:

Here is what I've collected over the years, knowing absolutely nothing. I'm quite sure that almost none of these are worth more than face value, but I kept them anyway. Top - Just a bunch of SBA's, couple silver dollars, and a bicentennial half. Middle - Quarters (only one silver), and some half dollars. Bottom - Wheat pennies (oldest perhaps 1919), Liberty silver dollar 1923. So what do you think,, should I just spend everything but the silver?

On one of the coin forums they have a project going to get people to spend dollar coins and half dollars which I do whenever possible. So far as a collective we have spent around $56K in halves and dollar coins.
I would keep the wheat cents, the silver quarter, the Peace dollar, and the Ikes. I would check the 1979P SBA dollars for the wide rim variety and spend the rest.

4 boxes yesterday.
1 40%er, some NIFC, and a core bubbled up from a fire.
