I just sealed the deal on 2 $20 for $20 Batman VS. Superman. www.ebay.com/itm/121903500754I guess even the Canukistanian gubment will be more than gracious to take Omabambucks vs Twoonies even after Enbay and paypal fees. I smell a Global Money Laundering Scheme in the works. Gotta love it, Does not ship to Canada. Free shipping to United States. Well they're making $1.47 on the exchange. Unless you like the coins, I still don't see an upside other than break even. I have been holding off on answering your "seignorage" issue as after a few beer after the 8 hours off the downfall of America everyday I have to go through 6 days a week I quickly gwt side tracked (not to be confused with 4R4B ADHD can't stop touching shit that doesn't belong to you dirivitive of Cooter AIDS caught from a toilet seat must spend 2 out of 4 hours you are at work in the office telling tall tales of how you are going to fix something instead of spending half the time to actually fix it ) And if you want to share your WASP birth certificate name (or at least street name) I won't be forced to assign one to you like East Peter or French Peter (which works for me ) or . . . . .

Yeah no rush. I was going to grab a Silver Eagle or 2 for myself, just because I like the coin, just haven't done it yet. Ozone or Zone for short was the nickname some time back, before global warning was an issue. Did some time there on more than one occasion during a few misspent days of youth. That DMV plate was gone so that killed that idea plus vanity plates have a higher rate of getting you stopped by John law. Ohsown saved running into the other jerk every time I used it. Jim works too.

No wonder it rejected, 7 1/2 ct coin in a machine. The 64 looks good though.

The Coinstar counters kickout silver and foreign coins so if you see something in the reject slot when you walk by there is a good chance there is something good in there. I found this one in a roll this week. So far I have found 3 of them but I can't find a regular circulation issue 1950D nickel I need to finish my set

I remember getting the occasional Monticello nickel back when I had a paper route years ago. Here are a couple for you. I always thought the 1937 Cdn. nickel was special because of the dot after the 7. Turns out all 1937 nickels had this. It was a design element to balace the space left caused by the stem of the 7 on the right side. Another one I always liked is the buffalo nickel, a wild west thing I guess. Probably why to this day I like the Blackhawks jersey.

There were 2.6 million 1950D dimes minted. All of the 1939 doubled die reverse nickels most likely all came from one reverse die. Nickels are the hardest coins to strike and have the shortest die life due to the hardness of the nickel compared to silver, copper, copper / nickel clad, etc. I can't find the numbers online but based on the die life of clad coinage I would speculate that there are less than 250,000 1939 DDR's struck and how many have been lost in the last 67 years. I found a 1950 a few weeks ago but it was from the wrong country

I got my Batman VS. Superman $20 for $20 in the mail today. And I didn't forget your question Jim about what I think about the $20 for $20 program as it has now has changed from positive to negative.

At least the Canadians only want $20 for 1/4 oz of silver as opposed to the Brits $104 Cdn. for about the same.

I picked these up at the coin show today. I shouldn't have but just like sitting at the bar the longer you are there the more you buy.

I got these in the mail today. $1.45 over spot free shipping. I know I shouldn't be spending money now but at $1.45 over melt that is a steal. Eagles are usually $4 over spot and the local supplier for the area sells them for $3 over spot at the club meetings when he has any. He pays $2 over spot straight from the mint so this is a steal. The offer is still up if anyone else is interested. I know govmint.com is about as bad as Littleton for selling overpriced stuff in fancy packaging but for the price of these I couldn't pass up the deal. I guess they are running this promo in hopes of trapping some sucker into buying some of their other junk. www.govmint.com/pages/2016-silver-eagle-bu.html?link=hpbanner

The price went up last night to $17.95 each as silver keeps going up now because I didn't have any free money to stock up 3 months ago when it was $13.75 ounce

I traded some of the 40% silver half dollars I found roll hunting for some Canadian silver dimes and UNC Roosevelt's to upgrade for my set at the coin club meeting last night.
