Take a guess as to what I like to whet my whistle with when it comes to suds... Moosehead! Yes sir. Canada's oldest independent brewery, since 1867 which coincidentally is the same year as confederation. It's quite delightful, refreshing, light tasting without any delicate floral notes !

My resent road trip wasn't ALL about beer. But we did spend a few days in Belgium! Don't mind if I do..............

There was a time when the big three managed to prevent the Olands from distribution outside of Nova Scotia. Fortunately we can now enjoy it all thw way out on the wet coast

Available locally at my Grocers (Price Chopper). They have a "Pick Your Own" six pack of craft beer. Fuel Cafe is from Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee, Smuttynose is from New Hampshire and Abita is in Abita Springs, Louisiana. I've seen them in other stores that carry craft beers, but I don't know about availability in your neck of the woods.

Smutty Nose did a great whiskey barrel aged brew. Forget what it was called and I'm not a whiskey fan but the brew was excellent.

They also make a Steam Engine Stout, as well as a variety of others, but this the only one I have at present.

Got a basket of beer for FD, went ahead and cracked this one to go with the grilled ribeyes, shrimp and lobster tail I'm not worthy.
