That's pretty phuked up, but probably not too terrible far off the mark. I could have sworn, that one of those sold for like $500. Wow, I had no idea that just the strap was bringing in that kind of money

Not for a 6105...if it were, it wold be selling for a few hundred bucks I suppose. I was VERY lucky then as I bought a 6105-8110 bezel about 5 years or so from a seller on WUS for only $10.00 and put it on this 6309-7040 MOD

Hi. Problem with NOS old rubber straps is that they often perish and break when you use them. The one from Saudi has been on offer for some time and no doubt has seen a few hot days. Cheers Phil

Cheers Phil That's the ironic part, you pay huge money for something you cannot even use. Such things are "museum pieces" only. This is where watch collecting is like coin & stamp collecting. You buy an uncirculated coin from the 18th century, you don't expect to actually use it (for it's intended purpose anyway) ... you admire it, usually from within a plastic, hermetically enclosed package. We've not yet gotten there though with watches & their accessories...
