Wear it and enjoy it. No watch is too nice to wear. That is why we get them.
Yes a truly perfect example will sell for more than just a good one, but unless you plan to sell it, wear it.
I got my Lord Marvel and it was NOS and I have worn it and love it and now,it has a few minor surface scratches. I know I wore it when they happened so I own them.
Enjoy and wear it in good health.

I do IT for a living. Most of the time, its just "desk diving," but, when I'm doing wiring, etc, I usually take my watch off. I just purchased a Speedmaster Pro, so that will likely be my daily for quite a while. I'm in IT and I still managed to crack the crystal on a 6138-8020 just walking through a door. Office life is no guarantee of safety...

Never whacked my head on a rail but I've been stabbed and cut quite a few times and torn more than my share of shirts. At least I'm long past the career stage where a tie was required. Cannot say how many nice silk ties have be ruined by the backs of circuit boards.

Cannot say how many nice silk ties have be ruined by the backs of circuit boards. Fortunately, I've never had a job where shirt and tie were required. I've ranged from t-shirt and shorts to business casual, but never shirt and tie. I cant even imagine how many clothes I'd go through if that were the case!

:blowup:I am with the OP on this dilemma - I have 4 or 5 watches that are simply too nice to wear! luckily I invested in wearable versions of each several years back! Is there any point in keeping a perfect example in a safe? Well... Is there any reason to wear an NOS watch? It will never be NOS again! (I am still in a state of internal conflict over this issue!)
