It's Citizen Eagle Seven (7) logo. I'd steer away... Oh yeah - wouldn't touch that with a long pole. But I laughed when I saw it.

You may well remember BorisdBlade (ebay) a seller of Mumbai specials and Presages from India.
Well he, Karl from Goole, has reappeared in a new guise as beautique_timepieces.
Just a heads up that what he is selling just might not be puka parts inside.
He's also trading on Gumtree as Karl from Goole but you will see the watches there are those also listed on ebay.

What do you guys think in terms of franken level? 6138-0030 - AM dial. Repainted tips on hour and minute hands. The minute subregister hand is repainted, hours not visible. Signs of case refinish based on how the polished sides meet the top radial brushed face. AM bezel insert 6139-6011 two pieces - Top one looks like it has a replacement hour hand. Case refinish done - The last one has relumed minutes hand. 6138-0011 - AM hour and minute hands. Relumed/painted hour markers 6139-6002 - Not had much experience with these. The dial looks relumed and the case refinished 7016-7000 - Minute hand counter on the sub-register is not correct, it might be Seiko but for other models eg Navy Bullhead or Gold/Black Panda

Obviously black date wheels and gold rotors must be hard to source for the fakers.

The seller has removed the pics which showed the common serial number and the full movement.
Guys, ask the seller to show the case back.

Local seller is selling this 6309-7040 and i'm curious what others think. Says everything works, crown threads good, but bezel is a bit loose. Says day wheel is Roman. He's Asking $250 for it... thoughts please? Is bezel an easy fix when if i were to send off to service? i.imgur.com/KWgAYcX.jpg[/img
I'd pass.
The hands are junk, the paint on the dial is worn off at 3 o'clock and at 6.
I wouldn't be surprised if the staining above Seiko and resist is on the dial and not the crystal.
The crown is pitted, the movement spacer is either corroded or extremely dirty.
The movement picture shows that the seller has watch tools but they can't put a new o-ring on the bezel?
Who knows if the crystal retaining ring is cracked or not.

Decent lume, correct sort of date range for it. Thanks for the assessment. Guy lives in my town and is also an ebay seller. A friend linked me a completely different 6309 he was selling on facebook market, we got into contact and the rest is history. Been bouncing stuff back and forth... He seems to have a lot of inventory in that I asked for '81 and he presented two (one not pictured here). We've been texting and he's been procuring watches on his trips to Asia for quite sometime. He has a nice 6306 i'll be picking up soon face to face.

Greetings, could I have your opinion on this piece? Dial, handset, crown and pushers look OK to me, but I have a doubt about the bezel insert ("tachymeter" is written in white). Case has been refinished. Thank you in advance.

Just because it's funny. Listed as a 7009. Bonus points for adding a dial code and shrinking the Made in Japan...Listing says it's all original so...

Just because it's funny. Listed as a 7009. Bonus points for adding a dial code and shrinking the Made in Japan...Listing says it's all original so... Seiko did make "5" quartzes, apparently to promote the acutal thing, but they dropped the idea and didn't produce many of these. Some forum members have come across these and I have seen posts about them. However, I have not seen one with a jewel count, but since they were (most likely) to promote the actual thing, it might aswel be a real thing. I recently bid on a Seiko 5 Superior Quartz, but had to stop bidding, as I didn't think it was worth the venture (it had an autenthic bracelet and build quality looked right to me). But if the thing was real, I would be really interested to know what movement it had inside. Please, if this turns out to be real, let us know what movement is inside.
