As soon as the sun goes down the temperature drops quickly. It will hit 35 degrees Fahrenheit by early morning... So yes cd_god - we've got the fire place going

Where's the mantle to hang the Christmas, I mean (insert your religious / ethnic / economical / regional / seasonal celebration here) , stockings on?

Stockings? Pffffff [ From In Living Color - for those who remember that! ] Stockings used to go on a wall not so far from the fireplace - and more recently they just get laid out on a couch somewhere...

cd_god - if you look close you will see some space heaters there again - though this time completely needed. There were A LOT more not in the photos. I think we have a better defense at 30-something degrees vs the other day around 65 degrees.

Nothing better on a Saturday, late afternoon, than a (very) nice glass of red... some music and good company. EDIT: This is an old vine Grenache from the south of France - for any fellow wine enthusiasts. The bottle translates as "The Pope's Grove: To the Glory of my Grandfather" - cheers to all the grandpas out there!

I forgot to mention in yesterday's yard flowers post, we also have 4 citrus trees... two are still too young to give fruit (grapefruit and lemons), but our two orange trees are in full fruit giving season.

We had a sunrise photo today, so a sunset photo seems like a nice way to bookend this Saturday. On its way to California I suppose... EDIT: At sunrise it was around 35 degrees F, at sunset we are at 65 degrees.

Today was a lazy day. Football and lounging. The dog-days of winter here in AZ. Seems fitting to introduce you all to my dog, Enzo. Here he is resting up before dinner: Then promptly 30 minutes before dinner time he starts begging. Which looks like this: After dinner I let him wear the world timer around in exchange for some treats. He was 100% invested.

Enzo is an Italian Lake Dog, aka Lagotto Romagnolo. Similar to a Portuguese Water dog, but boxier (more square shaped overall) / smaller and Italian. About 35lbs and 18" tall. If you haven't caught on yet, I am into cars, so he is named after Enzo Ferrari, another noteworthy Italian in my book.
Sometimes mistaken for a doodle, but he is a pure-breed and from ancient stock, dating back to at least the 1300's.
He is a 5 and 1/2 year old truffle hound, who loves food, swimming and digging - in that order. Could pass on everything else in life and still be fulfilled. Oh except companionship. He needs a human to hang out with 24/7. Unless you are a delivery person. He has an extreme bias against delivery people of all kinds.

This is by far the coolest Seiko idea I’ve ever seen. It would be great to make coffee table book at the end…I’d buy it. Cheers

For those of you who missed it (everyone but me maybe?)... the 11th photo in this post from Thursday. You need to read the list of options on this apocolypse truck: Full image here... 11th in that post wristsushi.proboards.com/post/269343/thread
Did you know bullets don't go through bullet proof glass but concrete anchors DO
Seems someone robbed an armored car last week not far from work.
Remember to stay off the Northside.
Jus' sayin'
For the record I used to be on video 9 1/2 hours a day at work til I got moved to where the one to the right used to be 2 weeks ago (not by my choice)
Back in the day we at least went to high school a couple of days or classes a week for no other reason than you had an alibi in case some shit went down and your name continuously got dropped by default.
I'll try to get a pic with some bump keys when the watch disappears off the grid.

I suppose that might be what the pepper spray dispenser, blinding lights and smoke screen are for... to stop the person that knows how to break the glass. I wonder if you can get a test drive and full demonstration of these things before buying? No one would want to find themselves in the middle of a Mad Max-like apocalypse in their (very) expensive truck, to then learn that the magnetic deadbolts or the electromagnetic pulse protection were over sold. FWIW, our World Traveller is likely not even splash resistant at the moment, let alone bulletproof.
