"Brick by Brick - How LEGO rewrote the rules of innovation and conquered the global toy industry" by David C. Robertson
Describes LGO's initial success story, the crisis they went through, and how they were able to get back to the top. As I have a soft spot for LEGO anyway and it provides a lot of background information on how certain product lines came to fruition, I am enjoying it.

Just finished up Deeply Odd by Dean Koontz. Very let-down. Going to start The Third Bullet: A Bob Lee Swagger Novel by Stephen Hunter, then moving on to a more depressing book called The End of America by John Richard Price.

Just finished up Deeply Odd by Dean Koontz. Very let-down. I love Dean Koontz' books and have them all, or so I thought. I particularly liked the Odd Thomas books, so it's sad to hear of a not so good one. Will have to get it anyway !

I particularly liked the Odd Thomas books, so it's sad to hear of a not so good one. Will have to get it anyway ! It's just getting way too out there. I think Mr. Koontz may not be trying anymore. The first three Odd Thomas books were awesome. I enjoyed them very much. Even Odd Hours was okay, but these last two just didn't do it for me.

Managed to get Deeply Odd by Dean Koontz as a Kindle freebie, and have just started it. Also reading James Patterson's 10th Anniversary ( a real book !) and another Kindle freebie, A Reason to Kill by Michael Kerr.

Can recommend a Reason to Kill by Michael Kerr, it was a very good read, and free too, so even better. thunbsup.gif
Now reading Dean Koontz 77 Shadow Street in paperback, and Life of Pi on Kindle. Both good so far.

The Wind-Up Bird was a joy, brilliant and complex, but similar to other Murakami novels. Next Pilgermann by Russell Hoban, another author incapable of writing a straightforward story.

The Hard Way (Jack Reacher No.9) by Lee Child.
Excellent as usual.

I think I've read both versions of this book 3 times. The uncut is the best.

I didn't think I'd find another Brother on a watch site but I sure am glad to find a kindred soul! We gotta chat some time! Aloha Mr. 69cevelleSS, you are not alone Sir. I am a Born Again Christian Man. ( I live by Faith not by what I see.) I also read The Bible too because that's my belief. If I do what everyone does I would not have what I have today. Having a ... " Photographic Memory ", well ....( 85 - 95 Percent or more as said by my Doctor says ), I remember what I have learned or read. Many tell me how come I know that book so well, I say it is my belief and I practice it too and it prospers me everyday. My favorite Prophets are ...... ( Elijah, Ezekiel, Apostle Paul, and King Solomon, Psalms ) and some others. I like the books of ......... " Reveleation's , Genesis , Old Testament first five books.
(One favorite one is ... " The book of Jude " , and it is very easy to understand it too, and the rest too. So that's about it from reading. I don't use Television for what is called ....... " Entertainment " uses. People say my ways are like ..... " Elijah " , because I can speak and sound like he would sound in the book. " Fear is not my companion ", or the other terms that defeat.
I study .. " Ancient Jewish history and Biblical Works " a lot. I have read the ....... " Torah ", about 40 times all ready. Read this bible probably over a Hundred times also. And I have one computer for this studies separately, its full of Biblical studies that all. That is me and my belief.

Hi Louis, Responded to your PM! I too love Revelation and Genesis. As for Prophets, I love Daniel and Isaiah. Moses was also a pretty rockin' Prophet!
