Kind of rare to see a dive bezel on a 7009 reference. I think there is only this reference 8560 and 8570 that have them. The 8560 seems to have a 12 sided bezel? Both marked with Sports dials. The bezel is off another watch, for sure, based on the few example I've seen and how poor the font printing is. The dial is spot on and so are the hands though they haven't aged to the same patina....Bracelet looks correct too which is always a bonus....I have been searching for one for some time and figured even with the off bezel I'd have "an example". I missed a better example several months ago out of Spain and so I bid higher than I should have here, but again these just don't come up in any condition for a reasonable price. Coming from the Philippines fingers crossed. sellers pic. Bezel is correct, but on this watch it's inset in the watch case. With a sticker type insert on top. Looks like the seller just painted over or on it. Like you say, nice to have an example though.

Somehow, after giving up hope years ago I ended up finding my ultra-mega-super grail - an SBDS003, limited edition of 300. I’ve had a thing for sliderules ever since I was gifted a Citizen Skyhawk for my 18th birthday. Throw in the fact that automatic chronos are my favorite category of watches and this has always been my ultimate goal (along with the 6138-7000). And coincidentally, just like the Citizen this came up around the same time as my birthday.

Arrived as opposed to coming - one of Adrian’s setting tools. Finally I can get round to changing the dodgy day wheel on my blue Pogue 👍🏻

Good luck on the day wheel. Crossing my fingers for you. Aussie post has not been good to him this year. He sent me a set of gaskets back in April..... Then sent another a few .on the later ...... Then gave up and sent it along with a bunch of stuff to my watch repairer George in Berlin in September. In the meantime, the April post arrived
