Funny, when it rains, it pours. I just bought another one a couple hours later for $150 This one is in nice shape. Why? I dunno!
Let's see if I get it. The title was simply "Wristwatch." He started the bidding at $29.99 or best offer. There were already four offers. People were probably insulting him so I figured $150 is worth a shot. It was accepted.

Can't have a best offer unless there was also a BIN price.
What was the spread on the opening bid vs BIN?

No BIN price. Opening bid was $29.30 and a best offer. No BIN. Upper left corner Here’s an example. Opening bid and a Best Offer. No BIN price. This is what my auction was like. So I clicked on Best Offer and plugged in $150 EDIT: I see it’s Make Offer

Why cant have best offer unless theres also BIN? What does the spread between opening bid vs BIN show? Funny, when it rains, it pours. I just bought another one a couple hours later for $150 This one is in nice shape. Why? I dunno!

Actually, you can do this now. I remember the first time I saw this I was confused. I really liked the watch and the opening Best Offer price was quite reasonable, so I offered the seller his opening price thinking it would buy the watch just like a BIN would.
It didn't, and was automatically declined. He wasn't looking to get what he listed the watch for. The opening price seemed to be just the minimum the seller would even consider, and the offers were supposed to go up from there. I made a higher offer, which was also automatically declined. Then I got pissed off and didn't bother with it anymore.
It is kinda like an auction...with no fixed ending. People just throw offers at the seller until they decide to accept one. I kinda hate it, and don't ever play the damned game.

But I believe once a bid is placed that feature goes away. I kinda like it. It worked for me!

I have a Citizen Brycen AW1591-01L on the way these came out last year and where styled around the 1960s Citizen Skin Diver. Seller accepted an offer of $65 US so far below the retail price. This one is blue with a blue bezel and leather band, the watch is ex display should be a good grab and go watch.

Well it looks like I might have gotten lucky with a 6139 at last 😁 : (Sellers pics) I know it's not on the correct bracelet and I did ask the seller if all the sweep hands reset to 12 correctly - he assured me they did so I took the risk, came in quite a way under my max bid too which I am obviously delighted with. So did I do okay? Or have I gotten myself stung on this one?

Had to complete the set of most recent SKX reference. Got a good price new in box. Going on a traditional SKX bracelet. Orange is my favorite color. May swap bezel insert for traditional black instead of the gilded.

I guess as a vintage seiko nut I could only find peace and happiness with this grandpa in my watch box... for sure others will be sacrificed but at least the holly trilogy 62mas, 6105 and 6309 will be complete. As a nice touch all three are from my birth month ...

Something a little more modern but still interesting on its way today: A 5T52 world timer in clean running condition with original bracelet, I've seen a few of the gold case versions but hadn't seen a good steel example for ages so couldn't resist.
