6306-8070 Silverwave Been looking for a clean example of this one for some time now:
I LOVE the '70s and early '80s SilverWaves/Sports 100s. They are the ultimate grab-and-go watch. Here is one I just got. It is a '77 7546-8010.
Came as part of a JDM 12 watch lot along with a 6458 diver, another really nice white 7546, a '69 Queen Seiko, and several other fairly nice women's JDM watches.
Those 7546 Silverwaves are very nice.

I've lusted after a DiModell Chronissimo strap ever since I laid eyes on them but refused to open my wallet at the RRP £70 price tag. Even at the cheaper £40 I found one seller listing them at. Finally came across by chance one HK seller that listed a similar style strap for a little over £10. I messaged to ask if they did a red stitched one but the nearest they did was this .... Should pair well with this...

Just got another grail, also a chronograph, also titanium.
This is a 1996 Citizen caliber C300 'Navihawk' with the titanium case. These seem to be quite rare outside of Japan and I have wanted one ever since I found out they existed. This model usually goes for $400+ used when you can find one, but I got this one for a small fraction of that on YJ. Condition is excellent, but I am not sure it functions 100%. Seller says it is untested and the battery 'has not been exchanged'. The fact that it is powered up in the pics is a good sign.
I almost didn't bid on it because I had just spent a chunk of money on the titanium 7A38 last week, but I decided to throw a low-ball bid in on it. Like the titanium 7A38 a decade before, this was probably the most expensive C300 you could buy new in the '90s. My low bid actually could have been a lot lower and I still would have won it.
I might have committed seppuku had I not put that bid in.
This was a good deal even if I have to send it in to Citizen for a module replacement. C300 Navihawks aren't super cheap anymore and these titanium jobs are usually the most expensive of the breed. Fingers crossed!

Today in the mail! This is an original buckle for the Quartz-Astron from 1969, even more rare than the watch itself. Always keeping an eye on the market pays off. Attachments:

I hit up my honey hole and landed this for a whopping $10.00!! It's a more scarce, desirable model from 2009 that can sell for $75.00 to $100.00. It'll clean up to like new condition and install a fresh battery.

On a roll with rounding out my rarer DW6900 collection with this unworn harder to find reference. I purchased for a very good price from a jewelry store that went under due to COVID. Given the kind of feminine coloring, it will be mostly displayed and definitely not worn in front of my friends who give me such grief for my collection. They call me "boy band" or "tweener."

It seems in fairly good conn, a 6106-8450 5ACTUS SS. The case may have had some work unless the brushing IS original. No tooling marks on the case back.

I got this.. It will need a new crown/stem assembly at least.. and I think it would benefit from a less faded bezel. Cheers Henry

Newer version of the CO23 the Promaster JP2000-08E, it will need some love when it arrives but should be an easy fix.

Quite slippery this Swiss slope... (still have plenty of snow on my Sushi slope, have no worries 😉) I initially did’t pay too much attention to this model when it was launched but she gradually grew on me and a good deal came my way so... you’ll see her soon in the WRUW threads ... date change issue was recently solved (seems to be linked with an excessive lubrication after all)

I finally got this one, at a very reasonable price I think. I'll have to search for an appropriate strap.

The entire description of this one translated to: Rank 1 size Approximately 17 cm around the arm * Please note that some errors may occur. 2021 will show if it's running or may be persuaded into when shown a new battery...

I should play the real lottery as I just hit the G-Shock lottery!
This is a Tough Solar version of the "Crazy Color" series and near impossible to find for a reasonable price. Pretty rare and very desirable. I see them sell used for $175+. I paid less than $100 and had a $15 coupon on top. Seller pic.
The second is a limited edition Tough Solar from 2010. Also pretty rare. But the best part? I paid $16 for it! Not the best picture from the seller but its a nice baby blue jelly bezel and band.
This is what it truly looks like; a pic from Watchuseek on the Interweb

I have one or two of these but when they appear for silly money you can't pass them up.
