cobrajet25 Nice one. I got one of these for far less than I expected to pay as well. Only needed a new battery. They are big, but not heavy, so not uncomfortable to wear.
I doubt I will wear it very much, but it fills a gap in my collection. I have a 6159 'Grandfather Tuna', a 300m 7549, and a 1000m 7C46. I tried on the 1000m before bidding, and, while large, it is not too much bigger than the 300m SBBNs I wear on a regular basis. I decided to fill the gap.
They are literally within a millimeter or two of each other, and with the exotic construction are fairly light, as you say. Worst case scenario is I flip it on Ebay for a nice profit. They're large but they're lighter than a 7549 300m. I never find mind a burden.

Paid $40 for both at my G Shock honey hole. The one on the right is new old stock. I just put in a fresh battery. The one on the left is lightly used. Need more batteries π My pic

My photograph. I'd been waiting on this for almost two months to the point I'd written it off as one of those lost packages. USPS sat on it for five and a half weeks at their Harrisburg depot.

Not so much 'in the mail' but picking it up local tomorrow. So, why did I buy it, well it was cheap (as can been seen why) but has something special.

Yes, but unfortunately it's missing one end link. I also don't know its full length so I am assuming it may also be missing some links. Finding them in any condition is rare. I very much doubt the movement runs but I have a complete one, with NOS circuit block, to drop in.

Picked up this minty Pulsar for the hefty sum of a couple cappuccinos. The Baby Arnie alter ego. My pic.

Probably my last bigger purchase for a while - a King Seiko Vanac 5626-7240 This was one I've been looking for, for a bit. AWB has one that I've been looking at but it has some chips in the crystal that bothered me and non-original bracelet, so I held off. When this one popped up, all original, I went for it. I have high hopes that it will clean up well.

Ordered some $36 straps for my $35.96 Success Sharing watch.
As wrong as that sounds back in the day (25 years ago) I put $200 rims on my $35 Toyota pickup truck.
Hotty Toddy.
I already have my #Straps4ACure seatbelt Supreme NATO on my Ecodrive so I guess I might have to do a review of the Crown & Buckle top strap VS. Blushark's top strap when it comes.
Crown & Buckle neutered Supreme NATO

My pic of a cool vintage Casio MWA-10 chronograph. I love grabbing these finds for dirt cheap. I paid $12 π

Two scores very high on my want list for a long time. Looking forward to overhauling and restoring. Rummaging through the collection for odds and ends to sell to pay myself back π

It's not a Seiko, but there's something in this FB market place lot that made me work hard to persuade the seller to post it to me... π

An early Microma LCD supposedly in a rough condition. I hope I can get it cleaned and running. If I manage to fire it up, I'll strap it on and watch Bladerunner.
No good picture to attach. Octagon shaped case.

Didn't buy anything on YJ since June... - but I still had that 5246-6000 on my wish list. Well today I failed. At 37.200Β₯ not exactly a bargain, but they show up seldom and it's black and it has 'Chronometer' written on the dial...
