Wow, that looks really sharp there DanS - I bet the joy of wearing the watch outlives the sting of the auction payment in no time. What year was that watch issued? Many thanks, @ inboost , I agree. I knew I would regret letting it go without a fight. I don't know how to date it precisely, but my cursory research suggests that these were produced in the 1963-64 timeframe. I would be happy to learn more. "Without a fight" , I watched that one and am glad someone from the forum won it. You'll need to wear it and show all of us plenty of wrist pics, I for one am very envious.

Landed a bunch of stuff recently. Part of the incoming was a lot of (mainly) sample cases. Unfortunately no 62MAS or 6105 rare beasts but lots of 7546 and 7T and ladies watch cases and some bracelets. Some with dials/hands/stem/crown. A couple of complete pieces too like the calculator watch you can see here. Don’t know if it works yet.

My first Orient. I got a little carried away in the auction unfortunately. I've looked longingly at these early Orient divers, but they are always priced a bit beyond my limit. Very nice piece.

These....I've been intrigued by some of these CASIO watches lately. Haha! Look at this little sucker....all of a whopping 33mm excluding the crown and 39mm lug to lug 🙂. Cool "little" watch though. 20 bar with a screw down crown. Not sure how much wrist time it'll get but seems to be pretty rare 😄.

A vintage “3 Eyes” A little gentle cleaning and rubber conditioner and it should make a nice addition to the vintage G collection

Thanks. I’d say these are from circa 1990. Bezels are very brittle and many crumbled so I have to be careful. I have a couple already but another doesn’t hurt. I know a guy in Malaysia who creates exact replicas with modern materials so I can always replace a bezel that breaks. I basically show these and not wear. I wear the modern reissues Here is his reproduction

This one crosses off a major one on my want list! KS Vanac 5626-726a. Auction pics (not mine)
Not perfect but looks like it has largely avoided the polishing wheel.
Pity the bracelet is missing, but everything else looks correct and the quickset is said the be working. Probably impossible to find the bracelet, but something to look for.
Amused to see the eBay version of the auction is still up - thank god I paid nowhere near that particular price!

My birthday is next week and my folks always give me a few bucks that I most always put toward the hobby to help defray the cost of a purchase. I negotiated this transitional 6105-8000 Resist from a young woman who’s father owned it and passed away in 2014. She kept it and felt it was time to part ways. She believes he bought it new. Dates to July 1970 just as Resist was moving to Proof. She always saw it on his wrist growing up. I know the Resist dial is desirable and this is the nicest I’ve ever seen. It pairs with my Proof dial I purchased from the original military veteran owner that I’ve posted the story about Seller pics
