SBDX017 Pulled it out to take a few pix for a WIS friend. So nice, classic design. I’m my opinion, the very best.

Im gonna say it is not going to happen... but if it does I have 3 fears:
1) Too $ 2) Not accurate 3) Brings unwanted attention to our little slice of the universe
What do you guys think?

Hey gang.
My SBBN031 clasp says titanium and steel.
The SBDX clasp I am looking at says just steel.
Does that sound correct?
Thank you

Finally mine arrived. Lend it to my buddy for a YT clip. So happy I got the kanji day wheel. youtu.be/K_AUh2bm0U8I believe the kanji day wheel has been seen on SRPK17 and I think it’s 1300 SBSA223. I could be wrong. Great video by your buddy - I enjoyed it.

Well I held out or a day at least. Have one inbound from JP. BTW, there is a 12% off Mercari coupon on Buyee + a couple still listed there - gets it back to around MSRP before shipping at least! Pro tip! I think the JP version is perhaps limited to 1300 examples Funny you mentioned the Mercari 12% off coupon now on Buyee. You will never guess what I used it for. I'll drop a hint: it is directly related to this thread C'mon now Dan, take a wild guess ! Nice score Jon!! That is awesome.

I must be missing something. What is the difference between the SBSA223 and SRPK17? The case back reference is the reference. In this case 4R36-13S0.
The model number changes with the geographic place they sell it. For example, the SLA017 is sold in Europe and the USA and was called the SBDX019 when sold in Japan. They made 2,000 total units. They are EXACTLY the same watch.
For the new teal release of the 38mm 4R36 desk diver, it was called the SBSA229 when sold in Japan. These come with an English/Kanji day wheel. When sold in the USA they call it the SRPK33. These came with English/Spanish day wheels. So there is a minor difference there.
For this new release, I strongly believe that the total of SRPK17 and SBSA223 will be the stated 15,555 total.
Hi Jon.... can we call them exactly the same watch if they come with different caseback and dial? SLA and SBDX had no such diff, corrrect?

My hang up was Seiko doing dozens of colors. I hope they one-and-done this one but that doesn’t seem to be the case with anything they do.
