Time will tell. All speculation for now. There is no FORK®© patent pending

I'll stick with the old ("cheap") stuff.

No. LE of 2000 and 350 000 yen. Source? Seems the other rumour going round is that Josh's idea of having a range of models is what's actually happening.... I'll wait until they release official news, otherwise the rest of this conjecture is a waste of time, and I think quite funny. Even if certain ins and outs are true! For the rumour mill ; there is going to be a dolphin caseback and also there will be a PADI version... I have it confirmed from several places in Japan that it's 2000 LE and a list price of 350'. I wouldn't say I knew if I didn't. Just email a Japanese AD and they will confirm.

So the non 350,000 yen ( ltd. ed. ) is going to be like cranberry juice made from grape, apple, water, sugar & concentrated cranberry juice.

More likely cranberry juice made from an PROSPEX X and a hideous hand set. So the non 350,000 yen ( ltd. ed. ) is going to be like cranberry juice made from grape, apple, water, sugar & concentrated cranberry juice.

I dunno, I'm actually quite glad that the less well off can participate in this 62mas revival. The Seiko divers are suppose to be the everyman's watch, so why make some ultra exclusive L.E. only in celebration of the birth of the everyman's watch?

But lets just have optional motors without changing the look of the watch. I'd love to run a V8, but will settle for the same car with the six.

Yeah, except they'll probably use Monster hands again with a big split triangle for the 12 o'clock marker and it will look less like a real 6217 62MAS than a Portuguese forum homage!! - Thomas

Well, how very strange of Seiko to make the cheaper ones look so poor compared to the over priced limited edition of 2000. Or how very clever, in a strictly business sense. Ah well. Not for the likes of me and the cheap one is not what I'd waste money on to have something that looks very little like the original.

The more I see of these, the more I like my MWW homage, even with the wait 'til June. Oh, yeah, I'll still have it before the "reissues" come around.

Niclas has posted pictures of the 'cheapies' over on TOF. I won't be champing at the bit for one.

Well, I suppose there needs to be a differential between the models, else why would anyone really go for the L.E. model (other than the fact it's a L.E.) That said, I think they've missed a trick with this offering. Divers generally aren't my thing anyway but I really don't see much to get excited about in the 'el cheapo' offering. WTF is with those hands? :puke:

The hands just made me a non buyer. What happened to a cheaper movement and a strap vs.bracelet option?

Makes me want a marinemaster even more I know a guy who's selling one. He also sells lawn and garden equipment, which is probably why the MM is being sold dirt cheap.
