Well the SBDX017 is how much, $2,400 USD?
The SLA017 is 2,000 pcs Limited Edition @$3,400 MSRP and at an actual AD (not dopey internet gougers) sub-$3,000.
Makes sense to me.

I had a chance to hold one, and I like it much better then my SBDX017. It is much sleeker and more comfortable, significantly less top heavy and bulky.
Would I pay twice as much for one then a Marinemaster - I'm not sure.
