I like those Donkey Tails, but have no luck with them - probably because they don't like being outdoors in the desert...

Back to these.
I think this is the last one.
This one seems to be going vertical instead of horizontal.

This one is a little sunburned for some reason.
I'm not sure if it is dead yet or just playing dead.
I think I'll name it Boca Raton after all of those sunburned shriveled wrinkled leathery skinned old people down there

I like this one but they made me pay twice the price because the only way to get the plant was with "the pot"
However the plant is in the same cheap ass plastic pots as every other one just set inside of the ceramic one

This one is a leaf pull of the same plant as above but from a different plant since I didn't want to risk jacking up my "Expensive" plant

This one is a leaf pull of some plant which may be the same as the 2 above but I am not sure.
I picked it off something off of the rack that had the "Expensive" plants on it at TNJ while I was still there which was over a year and a half ago so this one grows SLOW.
I never picked any leaves off of anything at work.
I would occasionally collect any loose leaves that were on the floor and hide them in my apron and smuggle them out at the end of the day but most of the time forgot them in my locker and they just shriveled up.
Since I was already planning on leaving since they wouldn't work with me I picked this 1 leaf and the one above.

OK
I think is the last one of these.
And it seems to have been repotted in the correct pot.
Haworthia Gasteria Verrucosa
And for those people shopping at your local garden center or big box store if you look on the side of any plant in the store whether it is a little succulent or a large potted bush if the price tag says PBS like in the picture below it means Pay By Scan.
The means the store doesn't pay the vendor until the plant sells.
If it doesn't sell they don't pay.
So if you see a dried out plant and tell me you want it for half off I say get bent it's cheaper for us to throw it away.
If the plant is $10 and we pay the vendor $7 for it we make $3
If I sell it to you at half of for $5 we still pay the vendor $7 and we LOSE $2.
If I throw it in the compactor it costs us nothing cuz it doesn't show up as sold.
You'd cry if you saw how much shit went down the compactor.
And that was just plants.
The amount of perfectly good other stuff that was in old or damaged packaging or on clearance that noone wanted even at 75% off that all went down the compactor made absolutely no sense either.
So the point is look at the price tag before you have to make someone repeat for the 42nd time that day and the 387th time that week "I would throw it down the compactor before I give you a discount"

Last one of these.
I know this for sure as there were only 3 in the pot when I bought it (unless they are reproducing when I'm not looking)
If you can buy a plant with several divisions for the same price as only 1 plant in the pot for the same price and feel comfortable breaking them apart go for the bundle.

Speaking of free plants from divisions this one needs to be broken up.
I bought it a month ago but haven't gotten a chance to do anything with it.

Last one for a while.
I have to go and plant my seeds and move my already sprouted ones onto the counter / photo studio.
I present: The Side Winder
This was the first plant at work.
The guy from the uniform company that stopped by every week to swap out the uniforms for the mechanics (back when we had any) brought a small succulent and gave it to me since I was the only one at the counter cuz the guy to the left was outside talking on his cell phone and the guy to the right was somewhere on his cell phone and #1 and #2 and #3 were no where to be found as usual.
This was April of 2020 just as the gubment plague was unleashed.
He said they would have brought donuts (they never did before the outbreak) but with the current situation they were giving out plants instead.
3 years later here it is.
This one drops leaves just looking at it as well which is why it is mostly all trunk now sort of like my first succulent Big Green Stump (RIP)
If I had more room and more time I would try and straighten it out and upwards so that it looked like a California palm tree.

I'm finding this one of the most amusing thread that you've posted. Don't stop.
I believe Chris and sleeping Snoopy are Haworthia species (or hybrids) of some sort. Not sure which - H. retusa, H. translucens, H. comptoniana, or H. 'Wudalang' perhaps. You could name themselves - who'd call you out?
Those two "expensive plants" are Sansevieria - the most common Sansevieria is known as "mother-in-law's tongue". Incidentally, my MiL is chatting (shouting) in the background, since she's over visiting.

cd_god, your sleeping palm tree has a very Dr Seuss vibe. Have you ever tried Air Plants? They don't need soil, just humidity in the air or a spritz of water from time to time on their leaves....

And a shellless one.
The shell broke a few years ago.
One of the 2 divides every year but I am too scared to try and split it and one of the divisions just dies off and I am left with 1 plant again.
Not sure which of the 2 it is.
I'll have to see if it does it again this spring.
