I finally got around to clearing off the countertop so now I have somewhere to take pictures.
Unfortunately I had to clean it off so that I had somewhere to put my hatched seedlings.
I had planned on doing doing this topic a long time ago but have been too burned out from working all of the time to do anything at home.
It may be a while before I get any more pictures up.
I always had a rule: no pets, no kids, no plants, no responsibilities
Unfortunately when I had to get a job at TNJ I made it 8 months or so before I broke down and bought my first plant.
Just ask Jason Statham "The Transporter" what happens when you break your rules
So here to start it off is a group of three different divisions I took from other succulents I have and put in a cup / pot.
Pots cost money.
Coffee cups at the Goodwill used to cost 50¢ for the common ones and 99¢ for the fancy ones.
Now Goodwill thinks their shit don't stink and nothing there is cheap anymore.
Anywho coffee cups make cheap pots and if you get one with a logo or picture it adds or compliments the character of the plant you put in it.
You can also name your plants based on the cup.
You will need a cordless drill and a diamond drill bit to make a drain hole in the bottom.
I'm surprised by the number of pots sold at garden stores that do not have drain holes in the bottom of them.
This one doesn't have a name and I really wanted to put one of my Venus Flytraps in this pot but unfortunately they need to be outside when it warms up and in a big enough pot so that they do not dry out during the day and cups are too small.

Nice! I think I would call that one "death wish", or the "grateful dead"... and I believe I have much bigger versions of one or two of those Aloes out in the yard... TBD tomorrow when it is light enough to take pictures.

This little guy here... Might be a baby version of these? And probably not related, but Bjorn might grow up to look a little like this guy:

I have a couple of (and several divisions) of one that is closer to yours for another day.
Bjorn is going to grow up to look like his daddy Ragnar since I plucked it off him and planted it back in the original store pot.
As much as I hate succulents since every time you touch them all of the leaves fall off at least if they do you can plant them and a good percent of the time you get a free plant out of it.

This plant isn't mine.
I am just watching it until somebody comes back.
When I came back from off the grid I brought back plants for everyone.
After the mass exodus of people at work last summer (3 people is a mass exodus when only 10 people work there to begin with) there was the second mass mass exodus when 3 people left at the end of the year (3 people is a mass mass exodus when you only had 7 people left at the time)
I already shared the story that unfortunately the one who actually NEEDED to leave decided to stay after the other 2 left and continues to make it shittier than the already shit show needs to be everyday.
Anywho when the only mechanic packed up his shit and left this one showed up by my computer.
I don't recall which plant he chose but it could have been this one so I repotted it and guess I'll just hold onto it until he comes back for it.
I'll call it Dandivan for now.

Be careful there cd_god - you might get attached to something! lol
dapellegrini - I think your second one is a euphorbia - Ragnar and son of are Opuntia.
If you want to go down the rabbit hole that is collecting succulent plants, Arid Lands is a top source - been around for decades and haven't jumped on the instagram influencer price a seedling for a thousand bucks train. Just solid and often uncommon well grown plants for a reasonable price.

3 years ago #1 said I could only have 1 plant at my work area.
This one wasn't the original one but is currently my "1 Plant" since the other plant is Dandivan and I'm only holding that one til the owner comes back for it
We have an inside joke at work about any flat surface.
Unfortunately it isn't funny.
If there is ANY flat surface like a desk or a work bench or ANYWHERE that doesn't have a mountain of shit piled on top of it already or you clear a space so that you can use it for something within 1 day it will piled full of new shit.
I saw this pot at the garden center up the street across from the Rolex store on lunch a month ago and it reminded me of that.
And it was on SALE.
I should have picked up a couple more as they had a bunch that had good plant sayings on them. When I went back the next week they were no longer on sale so I passed.
No sure what plant these are but they were divisions that I pulled from one of my other plants that is no longer in the store pot with the plant type name on it.
I named this one Any Flat Surface

Excellent! FWIW, I have bought (many) succulents and cacti from these two shops with very good success: mountaincrestgardens.com/and planetdesert.com/I also send gift cards to either of these on various occasions where I feel inclined to gift something to someone....

Little Warty
At least that is what the plant company calls this one.
I pulled this one off of another plant and repotted it but I pretty sure it went back in the same store pot.
I guess I should have read the directions on the pot that said SHADE and not left all of them under the grow lights 12 hours a day for the last few years

If the last one was "Little Warty" then I guess this one is Big Warty
These remind me of pickles for some reason

Another Warty
The "leaves" on these are extremely hard and don't fall off when you touch them like other succulents.

If the other ones were Little Warty and Big Warty then this one must be Giant Warty.
It might be a different variety or may be the same just having been over or under watered or too much or too little light or . . .
The warts are different than the others.
They remind me of braille.
Or maybe some kind of binary code with dot or no dot.
Maybe my plant is like the Loom OF Fate in that movie "Wanted" and is telling me who needs to get gone
These "leaves" also remind me of surf boards for some reason

Little Little Warty division.
I have a few more that I should probably give away but like when I brought plants back from off the grid most just put them on their desk or wherever and left them to die.
I had to repossess #2's plant from him.

This one is the same as one in my skull mug.
I looks like a warty but the leaves are softer and not bumpy.
Now that I look at this one with the flower stalk I think this might be more similar to the one dapellegrini has and thought mine was although his seem to have a much wider leaves that taper to a sharp point on the ends and "teeth" along the knife edge of the leaves.

I wonder if this is that...
You've got the whole plant, I just have the free leaves that fell on the floor.
Sort of like those ditch weed cigarettes that cost half as much as name brand ones that are made of all of the shake and shit that falls on the floor and is swept back up and thrown back in the hopper.
I think I saw that on that show "How It's Made" or something.
Or maybe it is just some urban legend I had heard somewhere in da hood?
