I don't think we'll see $50 til Queen Hillary gets voted in by the free hand out welfare recips and the suburban hippies blind to the real world in 2016. Wanna make a friendly wager? Message me. My silver hunting skills vs your watchmaking skills Go big or go home Did I ever mention I am world renowned (at least on the internet in the coin roll hunting world and I have yet to see anyone who has scored as much as me and as many rare finds. There was a new guy who had a good run and got tired of the posers and newbs on the main coin forums but got tired of the ass kissing and constant questions and started a "members only" forum for the elite of the elite. Guess who is member number 27 only because I had to bow out for a while because all of he pussy ass hippies couldn't handle when I spoke my mind and had to wait a year and reregister under a new name about the time when he bowed out and now I am the new "saint" and everyone kisses my ass and wastes my time with newb questiosns as if working with idiots all day at work wasn't enough. I have 5 phuking 1971D halves on quarter stock. Google it. 1 sold in 2006. 1 article says there is some guy in MS who found another ONE. Only ONE. Noone else. I have 5. "Go back and listen to Daughters, Bitches" We'll see who has been taking notes

You can't bea the house :winner: I used to own the "When will Cooter the methehead / alcoholic / Oxy / drain cleaner mixed with baking soda mechanic make it into work" side hustle game. The old spread was 9AM to 11 AM. Nowadays it is 9AM -10AM but no bonus points for the ridiculousness of the excuse. After docking wages $20 a day every day you are late, you get paid on Monday, Teusday, Wednesday, Thursday (none worked) instead of Friday the only crackhead Cryptonyte is getting paid every other week because the dopeman does''t extend credit past 2 days without retribution. I miss the old days when I was debt free and got paid once a month with no problem.

4 boxes today. Box 1 had some really nice 2000D's. It also had 8 40%ers. Box 2 had 10 40%ers including a 1968S proof. There were also 2 189 silver plated or rubbed or something. Box 3 was all shiny trashed and wash casino coins with all of the reeding peeened off but still produced 3 40%ers. Box 4 had more of those nice 2000D's along with 7 40%ers, a 1964, and an UNC 1963D Franklin. Not a monster box or even a mini monster but it all adds up in the end.

OK, well I've collected in coins since being a kid. Here's a small sample of what I've got: 1. 1787-Mass-1C-RYDER 2B-C R-5 [Early US State coinage] 2. Saint Gaudens-$20 Gold - MS63PCGS I did collect a lot of different US & foreign gold in the 1980s & early '90s + some more in early 2000s 3. Some Flying Eagle & Indian Head cents: 1886-T1-1C-NGC-MS66-BN Got some more UNC & some circulated as well. 4. Commemoratives: a. 1900-$1-Lafayette-MS62 b. 1928-hawaiian-50c got other UNC examples as well, but less rare examples. 5. Early US $1 1799 S$1 VF B-11 The others I have are much later ... late 1800s to early 1900s Morgans & 1900s Peace including the 1928 in nearly UNC. 6. 1924-S-1C-NGC-MS65-RB Lincoln Cent Also have a really nice UNC 1909S VBD!! Have plenty others w/o pics. The really good ones are back in the US in a bank box while I'm living here permanently in the Philippines. So... likely I'll never be able to get pics of them for you But, hope you enjoy the view of what I do have pictured!

2. Saint Gaudens-$20 Gold - MS63PCGS WOW! All of those are top shelf pieces. The Saint Gaudens double eagle was my favorite as a kid until the mint turned it into the annual Gold Eagle. After seeing your Hawaiian and Lafayette commems I was waiting for you to show an MS65 CAC Spanish Trail half.

Picked these 2 up today at the ANA show in Chicago. They were pretty much the only thing I could afford there. Talk about museum quality coins and equally high prices. It was mainly a pissing contest between several big shot dealers with a $100K - $3mil on display at their booths (and a douchebag fest of people wearing Rolexes) I don't know what a booth costs but I bet it is close to $1K and one guy there had 3 cases with 1 coin in each case. Another dealer had a complete MS65 and up toned set of Buffalo nickels. Another dealer had the worlds finest Barber Dime set MS65 and up. In all M65 that is a $2.3mil set. Add in the MS66 and MS67 look out. My 2 lowly acquisitions.

I have a ton of coins , but its more for the silver, gold, platinum content than anything else. From what I see you have a couple tasty pieces there.

Also in the box was a North Dakota with a rim cud. I see the 'cud' but what is it? Is it a casting problem? After extensive use the dies will wear outand the details will become mushy. Since the dies are hardened they are alos brittle and prone to cracking or chipping. A cud is where the outer edge of the die has chipped off and when struck there is no design there to imprint so the coin is left with blob in it's place. There are also planchet laminations peeling, peeled off, and retained. And die cracks (not mine) Unlike a scratch that is indented into the coins surface a die crack will be raised Not to be confused with die polishing lines which are also raised unfortunately on my Baseball HOF half And MAD (mis aligned dies) on the hammer die side as compared to the anvil die side. Not to be confuesed with and off center strike. On a MAD only one side of the coin will be off center, On a true off center both the obverse and reverse will be equally off center. And struck though debris where something is between the die and the blank planchet when the coin was struck. The way to differentiate a genuine error vs PMD (post mint damage) is that other side of the coin is fully struck with no distortion. If you were to put the coin in a vice with a screw the obverse would be flatter where the screw was on the reverse. Since the screw was between the reverse (anvil die) and the planchet when the hammer die came down it crushed the screw put fully struck the obverse. PMD (post mint damage) Anything from bending, drilling holes in coins, engraving or counterstamping, environmental damage from a buried coin, acid dipping or putting a penny ion hot sauce, AT (artificial tone using oils and heat), A nice way to wreck a $300 coin. AT Naturally toned. There is an order to the colors that have to occur. some people prefer white silver and some prefer toned which can add from 3X to 20X the value someone will pay. The NT rainbows were mainly found on Morgan dollars they were stored in burlap sacks treated with some chemical to prevent rats from eating the bags while they were stored in Federal Reserve vaults which adversely affected the coins. www.jhonecash.com/coins/tonedmorgans.asp

The bank forgot to order my halves again so I had to go through a box of cents I had here. Ended up with an 1893 Indian (been a while since I found one of those) and 62 wheats including a s1943 steel ender (only my 5th so far) and a 1910, 1926, 1929 and a few other 1930's.
