OMG! Why is there an early trimester human embryo depicted on this coin??? For the same reason Canada worships SATAN I'm pretty sure they didn't have sonograms back in 1878.

Got some more good boxes. From yesterday. And today. Got shorted again in 2 rolls with a quarter instead of a half.

Now that Josh is back, I can reveal one of the gifts he sent me along with the t-shirts... I am looking for a nice holder that I can put it in to attach to my keys. Definitely don't want to drill any holes in it! The last pics shows where it had been in a holder; there are four identical marks at equal quadrants on the coin. Thanks Josh, this is a keeper 7dfe79adc2f0 Here's an idea for you Peter. www.coincommunity.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=265148#265148

These two are kind of Kool Unfortunately the markup over spot on this 2 is totally unreasonable for the basic design. The Frank Frazetta rounds on the other hand have an even higher markup over spot but are a much better 3D design.

Picked these up at our clubs coin show today. I couldn't find what I wanted for the price I wanted to pay so rather than go out and buy something expensive I didn't really want just for the sake of buying something I settled on these.

Well after more than 5 years and 500 boxes searched I finally found the last coin in the wild I needed in order to complete my set of Jeffersons from circulation. It ain't pretty but it has plenty of street cred going for it.

Congrats on finding an elusive one!

wtnh.com/2016/10/20/bank-places-100-lucky-pennies-across-us-worth-1000-each/Bank places 100 ‘lucky pennies’ across US worth $1,000 eachDETROIT (AP) — Stopping to pick up a stray penny off the ground may not seem worth the effort, yet one bank is trying to change that mindset by placing 100 fake pennies across the country worth $1,000 apiece. Ally Bank says it is hoping to encourage Americans to look for opportunities to save through its “Lucky Penny” promotion, which launched this week. The lucky pennies carry a copper color like real pennies, but feature the Detroit-based bank’s logo instead of Abraham Lincoln’s head. The flip side of the coin lists its value at 100,000 cents. The pennies have been placed in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Miami, Denver, Detroit, San Diego, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Austin, Texas. The coins can be redeemed online until the end of the year.

I got this one tonight along with a free steak dinner at our clubs annual banquet. A teller asked me if I wanted this one yesterday when I was dumping halves.

The paper $5 must be a fake because on the top it says FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE and on the bottom it says WILL PAY TO THE BEARER ON DEMAND FIVE DOLLARS. The Federal reserve demolished the gold standard so this piece of paper is worth nothing :-/

The paper $5 must be a fake because on the top it says FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE and on the bottom it says WILL PAY TO THE BEARER ON DEMAND FIVE DOLLARS. The Federal reserve demolished the gold standard so this piece of paper is worth nothing :-/ On a side note there are X number less refugees in Canukistan since my boss decided to make weekly trip there for the last 3 weekends. It's not just America that is doomed in the next year, it is the entire world. The guest speaker at the banquet was an expert in the doctoring of paper money and a question was asked why the US doesn't call in all of the $100 bills and issue an ultimatum of no longer legal tender to call out all of the counterfeits that are circulating worldwide. And his response was after WW2 the UK pound was the dominant global currency. Then they did some shit in the 1950's to undermine their credibility and then the US dollar became the global currency. If the US recalled all $100 bills they WOULD have the exchange them counterfeit or not for the new bills otherwise it would undermine the credibility of the US $ in the world market. That is why foreign governments continue to counterfeit US currency just as the Germans tried to do with the UK pound notes during WW2.

Josh, do you have a steel penny? Just saw it on Pawn Stars, pretty cool story. I do have a few uncirculated ones as well some really rusted ones. The 1943 steel cents are plentiful even after the government dumped a lot of them in the ocean after they were removed from circualtion after the war. I have found 3 in rolls of pennies which shouldn't happen because the counting machines are supposed to have a magnet in them to pull out foreign debris and foreign coins. You have to beware of reprocessed 1943 cents. A lot of them that were worn have been plated to make them look shiny to be sold to suckers.
