Finally got some good boxes. I picked up 9 boxes on my day off Friday. Ended up with $190 in silver.

Got these in the mail the other day. Cool; I remember mention about something 'Superman' that the mint was going to do. I like the Maple Leaf one better though

With the loonie getting its feet in toilet water when landing, I'm not sure metals priced in U.S. funds are a good move. In saying that, I'm not sure too much is a good move anymore.

New Aussie Notes. They've issued a new $5 note with new security features which include a clear strip and triple holograms. (New at top) The clear window at the bottom left shows a star in the right light, you can just see it here. Little known story, the polymer bank notes were invented here and the plastic formula is a state secret. We sell the plastic on rolls to loads of other countries and help them do the printing. I have to say, the new note would be literally impossible to forge. The old note was forged quite heavily and convincingly. Late at night at a bar, the bartender can't really see what you're giving them. If anyone wants one to show off to friends let me know and I'll post one out. In person they are stunning and you notice a new security feature every time you look at it. Better detail of holograms One more new feature, invisible birds, there is a spoon under UV light.

(New at top) Even before reading your post I was going to ask if they were polymer. There was an exhibit at the CSNS show int he last year or 2 of all of the "to date" polymer notes and there are several from several countries. Very cool. And the position of the dots on reverse is to thwart copy machines (there 3 are known patterns and they are found on US $20, $50, and $100 bills) although I think only one manufacturer of scanners / copiers still use the blacklist software. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EURion_constellation

I was betting on the Trumpistan spike that didn't happen (at least not yet) Luckily looking back I only bought maybe 30oz back in the $35 down to $25 downward spiral range and 250oz in the $15 to $20 lull. The other 250 oz only cost me face value and my time roll hunting for it I missed out at $14 / oz cuz I had to meet the debt free deadline so I missed out on an opportunity to buy and make out even if I had to sell at today's prices. The universe is rigged against me.

I like the stylized art on those coins. Looks like the maple leaf on the dime is mutating towards the soon to be legal "B.C. bud".

Bah Humbug! 1/4 ounce of silver for $20. No thanks. Give me the American Eagle 1 oz. silver for $20 and I feel I got a deal and a real coin, not a cartoon.
