A great model. The original bracelet (on left) is just perfect for the watch! One of the better bracelet/watch design combos IMHO. Still, the 6138-0011 and 6138-7000 are top if the 6138 heap for me!

Hi Dasher, welcome aboard. Keep us posted in the 6139. My sense is the taking apart is the easy part!

Very cool indeed.
The base technology is decades old, but the past 5 years or so has seen significant advancement and more mainstream adoption. I had lunch with guys from HP a few years back and we talked about this and just how detailed it can get now. It amazed me then and still does. Pure sci-fi brought to life.

Sometimes yes means no and sometimes no means yes, but maybe always means maybe.

Gotta say I'm a bit surprised? Only divers listed? No 6139, 6138? How can this be?

That's just unbelievable. Pretty sure I saw a ladies shoe fly by! :-)
I'd have surely soiled myself if I was in that vehicle. Pretty sure it wasn't a Hyundai...

Restoring a beater is the best bet. Tried to use one as a potholder...not so good! LOL

They are usually just watches that are missing movements, holdings rings, etc. case, crystal, bezel, hands, dial, all good. Sometimes they come on a much shortened or "half" bracelet or strap.
Great if you come across one and want to use it to restore a beater!

Great post Pete...thanks. In all the stuff I've seen, I never understood its function was error correction instead if full regulation. Very cool. Thanks for taking the time to explain!
