Doug Kim of Manchester Watch Works yesterday in re the 62 MAS reissues and his homage: "In hindsight, if I knew Seiko was doing their 62mas reissue - I wouldn't have taken on this project. Which would've been a big mistake as ours seems to have hit a sweet spot that neither Seiko reissues even aimed for  " Once again, I'm glad I was at the right time and place to acquire one of his. |

Total disappointment for me personally. When I saw the first pic, it was so perfect I thought it was the reissue and got plum giddy. Then I scrolled down and saw the arrow hand, Prospex on the dial, and the slant indices, and thought "what the h.ll?".
Well, those funds will simply be applied to the new Tudor Chrono when it comes out. I'm on a wait list and haven't bought a new watch from an AD in 23 years!

I saw pictures of it on the bracelet on Instagram and I wasn't too impressed. Endlinks looked quite poorly fit to case. Didn't look like what it costs at all.

Today at the Seiko Boutique in NYC the manager stated they get their shipment if SLA017s in tomorrow !
Mine coming via a Grand Seiko AD so I have a bit more time to wait.
