I know the feeling. My dad had a JLC that I sold for next to nothing about 25-30 years ago. Dumbass. You cannot fault yourself for having a faulty crystal ball Correct...no regrets...

If I had a spare $20K I've always been partial to this... Not sure if that's the 5296? They have had several Calatrava's in the last 20 years. I was sure I'd own one by now...I had searched for one in Stainless but now Stainless is all the rage...By biggest regret is parting with a steel Vacheron that looked very similar... I cry when I think about what I did... I know the feeling. My dad had a JLC that I sold for next to nothing about 25-30 years ago. Dumbass.

I have taken an anti zombie stance in life. I find the entire genre stupid and will not watch any of it. We’re coming to eat your brains!!!!

...you’re watching walking dead and realize several characters have been wearing the same watch since the beginning. Seven and a half years. The mind begins to whirl...Where do they get new batteries? Do the have a caseback opener? Who services the automatics and does he have a backlog? That’s it, I’m calling the show.

Don’t love either. Looks like they either got rid of the Landmaster name or these aren’t Landmasters as there is no mention of it on dial or caseback

Nice pickup! Never went down the Ricoh road, although had my eye on an orange Ricoh tuna done years back. Congrats!

Mate. Been stuffed around lately by pricks over exaggerating minor faults in vintage watches. Maybe it’s a tactic to reduce prices but I am over it. Cheers Phil No worries, actually laughed my ass off!

Agree entirely Adrian but the number of ocd pricks out there expecting them all to look like safe queens is amazing. These watches were cheap and usually well worn. The odd ding and scrape is part of their character and should be preserved. Cheers Phil So, Phil, your point is that if someone prefers vintage pieces in excellent condition to pieces in well-worn condition they’re a prick? Wait, a prick with a mental disorder? C’mon now...tad bit harsh don’t you think?😊
